The glaucous grey brown, 2" wide, fleshy rosettes, which resemble sempervivums, spread by short stolons to form an 1" tall x 18" wide patch. In October, the rosettes are topped with 4" tall towers jammed with tiny creamy flowers. Each flowering rosette dies away but is unnoticed among
