The routed top edge gives a smooth step down, made all the more interesting by the chamfered front corners consistent with turn of the century Danish design. The drawer fronts are plain and graduated, the two center drawers being equal with a shallow top drawer and a deeper one at the bottom, all with delicate hand cut dovetailed construction.
