Germany, HJ. A 1939 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Bronze Grade, by Ferdinand Wagner Republic of Footnote: The Order of Saint(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1939). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a white enameled medallion overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER 1939, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker
